The Hale Irwin designed Southern Woods Golf Club was created with
nature in mind. Full advantage was taken of the rolling terrain and
the lush forest areas. Scenic, tight, often difficult, the southern
Woods course requires accuracy from the tees and fairway as most
greens are well-guarded by deep bunkers and water on No. 7 and the
round breaking trio - Nos. 15, 16, and 17. Before each stroke,
strategy must be considered.
